Vltava river

The river Vltava is the longest one in the Czech Republic and very popular among canoers and other water sports fans. The part of the river between Vyšší Brod and Boršov nad Vltavou is said to be not only the most frequented one in the Czech Republic in terms of rafting and canoeing. Possibly it is the most frequented river part in Europe.

Stausee Lipno

The Lipno Dam, or the South Bohemian Sea, is the largest body of water in the Czech Republic. In the summer you can enjoy sports fishing, water sports, yachting or lounging by the water, in the winter there is an ice rink, skiing or an aqua park in the village of Lipno nad Vltavou.
