A world-unique natural theater with an original use of scenic space. The auditorium is located in the Český Krumlov castle park. The place of the actor’s action can be anywhere on the vast playing area. Thanks to the two-way rotation of the auditorium around its axis, the audience can perceive the event in a panoramic way. Its history dates back to 1958.
Latrán – magical sight below the chateau of Český Krumlov. Since 1555, due to the decree of Vilem of Rozmberk, Latrán is an official part of the town of Český Krumlov. Until that time, it was developing as a separate town and therefore there was a significant rivalry between Latrán and Krumlov in terms of urban law and privilege.
