Latrán – magical sight below the chateau of Český Krumlov. Since 1555, due to the decree of Vilem of Rozmberk, Latrán is an official part of the town of Český Krumlov. Until that time, it was developing as a separate town and therefore there was a significant rivalry between Latrán and Krumlov in terms of urban law and privilege. It was the litigations and fights between the two towns to bring up the idea of their union by which the problematic situation was solved. While sightseeing you definitely should not miss out St. Jošt’s Church, Castle brewery and Gate Budějovická.
